We are dedicated to promoting the sport of hockey through athletics, physical exercise and sportsmanship as well as to enhance the moral character and physical health of young boys and girls through organized athletic instruction and competition.
"Warm Hearts Warm Bodies, By Colin" is again this year collecting gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, sweatshirts, and anything to keep warm during our cold Rochester months. The main drop box is located at our home ice rink at the BGRI. We thank them again this year for their support. Please help support this wonderful charity. All of the donations are given to Rochester's Open Door Mission. This charity was started three years ago.
Colin has been chosen as a top five finalist in the Sprout Kindest Kid Contest and the Today Show will be coming soon to do a filming at our very own ice rink, then Colin and his mother will go with the other finalist to NYC with the other finalist to be on the Today Show. Let's put Rochester and Rochester Youth Hockey on the map! More details to follow. Please help fill up this box located in the main lobby.

The 2005 Squirt Minor AAA team coached by Terry Nau defeated Ashburn Xtreme in the Silver Division Finals for the IHT Tournament Columbus Day Weekend. Through hard work the team started off the tournament Friday October 10 with a win over Greater Boston Jr. Bruins 4-2. Later that evening collapsing to at 5-3 defeat from the Hamilton Bulldogs it was time to regroup as a team for the next day. Saturday morning they tied Hamburg Hawks 4-4 in an up and down exciting game while taking a slashing later on from Valley Forge Minute Men 11-2. Luckily getting into the Silver Division semi-finals we had a chance to redeem ourselves to the Hamburg Hawks and came out on top with a 1-0 win to take us to the finals! The team became focused and determined to win their Silver Division with a 1-0 win over Ashburn Xtreme. The team played together and worked hard to get that goal with 1:33 left in the third period. Congrats to all of the kids for their hard work!!!
